About

Pipe Camp is a two-session workshop where you hand-build a clay pipe from scratch. Two hours to shape it, then come back next week for two hours to finish it.

Small group. Real studio. No experience necessary. You leave with a pipe you made yourself.

Session 1 — Build

Intro & Clay Prep

Orientation, wedging, selecting your clay body

Shape Your Pipe

Hand-build the form — bowl, stem, mouthpiece

Hollow & Refine

Drill the bowl and airway, check the draw, surface work

Wrap & Dry

Pieces go on the shelf to dry. Bisque fired before Session 2.

Session 2 — Finish (one week later)

Glaze & Surface

Choose a glaze or leave raw. Apply, wipe, detail.

Finishing Touches

Final cleanup, sign your work

Done

Pieces go in the glaze kiln. Pick up or ship when fired.
